Why?
Why buy the ToughMax Bar and Chains as a set. Well first of all you will get the best performance possible by putting 2 matched products together. Believe me you will be amazed at the combined performance of the 2 products.
Have you ever sharpened a chain and then found out after much wasted time that the saw cuts crooked and cant cut any thick wood? Using this bar and chain combo eliminates the need for manual sharpening, removes lost time due to sharpening errors, and massively improves productivity.
Have you calculated the amount of time wasted cutting a large load of wood? I did and found that sharpening can take as much time as you spend cutting the wood.
Using these chains means that you can cut up to twice as much wood in a day!
The extra hard Carbide tips will not go blunt even if they come into contact with the ground.

★★★★★DT - VictoriaAfter buying Tungsten Chains and Bars from China I only found disappointment. However, when I switched to this ToughMax product, I got exactly what I expected as a professional forester.
★★★★★JA - NSWFor many years I used only Genuine Stihl bars in my saws, a few years ago I noticed that my Genuine Stihl Bars no longer lasted as long as they used to. I started using these ToughMax Bars and was pleasantly surprised in that they have the quality and hard wearing of the old Stihl Bars at a significantly lower price.
★★★★★LD - QLDWow, such a great bar, low friction, lower operating temperature, really superior in doing what a good bar should do which is guide and hold the chain square to the cut under extreme conditions. This really is a tough bar; you have won me!?

★★★★★TG - SAI put 14 tank-fulls of fuel through my MS660 with that chain and Bar. It's still is cutting wood. I thought that was impossible LS. (14 tank-fulls of fuel in a high-performance saw represents about 15,000kg of wood cut).
★★★★★JJ - WA.I started using these Bars and Chains 2 years ago and the productivity increase amazed me. Myself and the friends that I shared these ToughMax products with can testify to amazing performance in extreme cutting conditions.

An awesome chain that delivers consistent cutting results from one job to the next, have used numerous times on many trees and still cuts like brand new. No down time sharpening and so far just cuts and cuts without hassle, will not need to replace anytime soon.
